This lead cut is of the State Farm Insurance Company logo. It measures approximately 7/8″ square.
We are old time printers just jumping into the 21st century! Really we bought six newspapers in SW Minnesota and combined them in to three! Among the things that went along with the purchase were old presses, inks, files, broken computers and reams and reams of stinky old paper that had been stored in an old warehouse! Most of the junk we just had to recycle or throw away. What we did save were these WONDERFUL pieces of history – both wood and metal type and other printers items. We will be listing them over the next few months so please take a look.

This lead cut reads “North Star Mutual Insurance Company, A Minnesota Company”. It measures 1.5″ X 1.25″. It’s HEAVY so, again, I apologize for the price of the shipping. The Post Office is in charge.
We are old time printers just jumping into the 21st century! Really we bought six newspapers in SW Minnesota and combined them in to three! Among the things that went along with the purchase were old presses, inks, files, broken computers and reams and reams of stinky old paper that had been stored in an old warehouse! Most of the junk we just had to recycle or throw away. What we did save were these WONDERFUL pieces of history – both wood and metal type and other printers items. We will be listing them over the next few months so please take a look.
