The fire started in the middle of the planter and spread to the outside. There is no estimate and the outside tires and the tongue remain. The fire started in the front of the combine – which is where most of the damage is. The cab is completely gone and most of the combine is heavily damaged by the fire. This fire damaged 1999 Massey Ferguson Combine, Model 8780 is being offered for auction by Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company. This combine has an Identification Number of X55114. Some additional features of the combine include a FieldStar system, a 505 motor, bin extender, lateral tilt and a 25 ft Agco header. The right front side and cab with header suffered fire damage. The motor was not damaged nor was the left side of the combine. Pictures show a rear wheel drive unit that was added however this unit WILL NOT sell with the salvage.
