Jerry Lawson (Netlawblog) gave mini-reviews of several inexpensive web hosting outfits a few weeks ago. Another option is signing up for three years of free web hosting with 1and1. You have to sign up before Dec. 31, 2003 to get the free three years. They explain the promotion by stating that they had the choice of either spending the money on advertising or spending it to create customer goodwill, and they chose the latter.
